Melissa Kramer: Co-Director
Ms. Melissa joined International Preschools in November 2006. Her undergraduate studies were in Geology, though she spent some time in the business world before joining our team. Ms. Melissa loves the academic preschool environment, learning, and teaching. She feels that working in administration allows her to have an impact on more children and get to know all of the IPS families.
Ms. Melissa and her husband Brett have a son, Aiden, and a daughter, Avery.
Megan Pickering: Co-Director
Ms. Megan started at International Preschools as a 4K teacher in June of 2006. After five exciting years of teaching, she acquired her Masters in Instructional Leadership and joined the administrative staff at IPS. She is now thoroughly enjoying her role as Co-Director as she gets to work with all the fantastic IPS students, families, and incredible staff.
In her spare time, Ms. Megan enjoys working on creative art projects with her daughters, Olivia and Natalie (IPS graduates), as well as hiking, gardening, and reading.
Angela Schnabel: Development Advisor
Ms. Angie first joined IPS in 2010. After a move cross-country, she rejoined IPS in 2016 following the birth of her son Otto. She was the director of our Virginia-Highland campus and is now our Development Advisor, working on developing our curriculum, community outreach, and more. She has worked in education for almost 10 years, developing curriculum for both preschool and elementary levels as well as teaching. Angie enjoys hiking with her husband and son, reading, and cooking. Ms. Angie and her husband are expecting their second child in October!
